decided to add another distraction. GM subsidiary Progresso just launched a short-film website for its soup product line. The short web films called “soup operas” are targeted to young woman at work. Each film is about two minutes, and allows viewers to choose alternative story lines. Supposedly, working women will tune in the web films during lunch. To encourage viewership, Progresso is sponsoring a sweepstakes for users to submit photos of their cubicles. If you think we are kidding, you can visit the Home Sweet Cube website. Marketing Blurb thinks working women have better things to do—especially during their lunch break. Are we crazy, or what?
