To win over public opinion, Glaxo is planning an internal campaign to turn 8,000 US sales representatives into “public relations ambassadors.” The campaign called “Value of Medicine,” is intended to respond to “overwhelming criticism and negative perceptions about the pharmaceutical industry.” Sale representatives are now expected to “talk to people” in a grass roots effort regarding the company’s reputation—rather than just their price list. So look for a smiling GlaxoSmithKline representative at your doctor’s office soon. Oh, and smile back.

How about all the fraud and why don't they interview former reps,that were let go of because they discriminate based on age and tenure when they can legally get away with it.
