
Regular readers already know the saga of Krispy Kreme Donuts. But things are looking up for the besieged purveyor of the sugar rush—at least for Valentine’s Day. For the first
time, Krispy Kreme is turning to television and radio advertising for their “Share the Love” campaign. The ads, featuring heart-shaped donuts will run in North Carolina; Springfield, Missouri and Savannah, Georgia.
In the past, Krispy Kreme depended on word-of-mouth and product placements in movies and television shows. Industry experts believe the brand lost its distinctive aura with wide-spread availability of the donuts in grocery and convenience stores. While Marketing Blurb encourages a healthy diet, we must admit everyone can use a little love. Now hit the gym.
