Like sports fans everywhere, Madison Avenue follows the Olympic Games too—looking 
for that next superstar to hawk cereal, shoes, clothes, cars, and whatever. But according to The New York Times (free registration required,) no US superstars have emerged from the games as yet. With just a few days remaining, no American is a multiple gold medal winner. "It's probably the most hyped and most disappointing Olympic team we've had," said Bob Williams, the president of Burns Entertainment & Sports Marketing.
