For you football fans who just can’t wait for baseball season to start and then finish—here’s news about college football’s next season. Allstate Insurance will be the new sponsor for the Sugar Bowl, replacing Nokia, who sponsored the game for the past twelve years. Critics are suspicious, however, because the Sugar Bowl is historically played in New Orleans, a town unhappy with Allstate’s response to Hurricane Katrina. Allstate’s response is simple, they want "go deeper into college football and contribute to the revitalization of New Orleans." Marketing Blurb wonders why Nokia dropped the ball.
