article about selling naming rights for babies. This is not a permanent deal, mind you, but a fund raiser for the American Chamber of
Commerce scholarship fund. Chamber vice president Chris Mead, sold the naming rights to his son for two weeks at $ 375. So meet ChamberMaster Mead, named for the ChamberMaster software company. Horizon Industries is waiting in the wings for the next two weeks. But the story does not stop here. According to a poll conducted a few years ago by parenting website Americanbaby, 49% of responding parents say they would consider accepting money from corporation in exchange for naming right to their babies. Coors Light Smith, anyone?
