It will soon only take one hand to handle your meal at Burger King. The restaurant just
announced the nationwide rollout of their value menu of includes 10 products priced from $ 1.00 $ 1.39. (See
The Wall Street Journal, paid subscription required.) Those with smaller appetites can chose Whopper Junior, four-piece chicken tenders, small fries, onion rings, and side salads. Burger King tried a value menu back in 1997, but this lowered average meal receipts. But now that the economy is improving, Burger King hopes visitors will upgrade to their more expensive traditional fare.
