CGM, or consumer-generated media, is the buzzword in online marketing these days.
Brave marketers have decided to let brand enthusiasts create their own advertising for various products. Some participants submit creations from scratch. Other words with online toolkits including pre-produced snippets, other company encourage participants to provide the ending to a commercial. The brave companies trying this approach, online at least, include major players like includes MasterCard International, Home Depot, General Motors Corp., Sony Electronics, Toyota Motors and L'Oreal Paris.
