
Marketing Blurb did not see Brokeback Mountain, and we probably won’t until it shows
up in our hotel room some night when we are too tired to sleep. But forget the movie, because the real news is Cowboy Fashion. Even though the show did not pull in the Oscars, sales of western wear are back on the radar screen. Think western shirt sales up 25% for the year. Think big belt buckles, western hats and bandannas. Of course, there is a showdown brewing over what is the real deal, what is urban cowboy and what is metrosexual cowboy.
