Hotels, we received two freshly baked chocolate chips cookies as a night time snack--on the house. This was Doubletree's signature amenity, and face it,--two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at night beats the hell out of fluffy beds, large work areas, free Internet access, or a limp continental breakfast. We don’t know whether or not the hotel still offers the cookies, but at least the chain is
returning to the advertising fold with a national TV campaign on news and lifestyle channels like CNN Headline News, CNBC, Fox News Channel, the Weather Channel, History Channel and the Travel Channel. The new campaign features the relaxation you finally receive in the arms of the Doubletree logo after facing the demons of routine business travel.
