When the alarm went off this morning,
Marketing Blurb awakened to the news that Starbucks was offering free coffee at more than 7,500 Starbucks around the country
between 10 AM and noon in a promotion dubbed the
National Coffee Break. And for those who could not make it to a near-by location, Starbucks employees would serve coffee from mobile "Venti Vans" and insulated coffee backpacks. We made a mental note to visit the nearby Starbuck to see if they were participating. Well, we were working on this client project, got in the zone, and missed the whole damned thing. Mind you, we still enjoyed 4 or 5 cups of our own exclusive office brew, but no one in a green apron smiled at us all day.
