You already know about so-called laddie magazines like Maxim. These publications are a terrific way to target a specific demographic. On the minus side, when you reach those readers, they do not spend as much money as their sisters. So what you really need for your print advertising program is a new lassie magazine called Missbehave (damn that is clever!) Launching in July, Missbehave will target street-savvy women ages 18-32. The editorial will feature fashion, beauty tips, and edgy pop culture, according to editor Samantha Moeller. Folio, who tracks the magazine industry,  says Missbehave “moves in a milieu that marries hip-hop street culture and the cultivated hipster sensibility embraced by many young women with disposable income in urban environments.” If you do not understand this positioning, don’t worry—that just means the magazine is not for you.
