While taking out the trash yesterday, I noticed free coupons for McDonald’s new
Premium Coffee atop the recycling bin. Even though
Marketing Blurb missed the free Starbucks coffee offer earlier this week, we decided to pass on a premium brew from Mickey Dees. First, we have not set foot inside a McDonald’s for at least five years now, and see no reason to break our streak. And the last time we did set foot there, the floor was sticky, and the table tops were sticky as well. Perhaps their cleaning solution is cross-contaminated with the French fry oil. But forget our bias, and enjoy the new coffee if you must. Participating restaurants feature a premium coffee and McGriddles combo. We are told by others that the McGriddles breakfast sandwich is sinfully delicious, but somewhat like Fugu, the Japanese fish with poisonous organs. One bite of Fugu sushi improperly prepared will kill you. (Every third McGriddles breakfast sandwich does the same we fear.) How's the coffee?
