comes to mind) but in the marketing world, the new buzz term is
third screen. And
according to a new report by researcher Magna Global, the third screen will be huge. "With a potential audience in the billions, as infrastructure is deployed to meet advertisers' needs, we believe this vast untapped market will ultimately emerge as one of the most important of the early 21st century." There are more than 2 billion mobile phones online globally, and 236 million of those have the 3G service enabling video playback. This segment of the market is growing exponentially. But before you get carried away, there is still a lack of content and advertising, and cell carriers need to upgrade their infrastructure.
