Now you might think that distributing samples of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes to teachers via a promotion called Clean Up the Classroom is a good idea, and you would be wrong, naturally. A box of requested samples arrived at Coal Creek Canyon K-8 School in Golden Colorado yesterday. Teachers distributed the samples of Gel Clorox Cleanup, disinfectant cleaner, and disinfection wipes to students in grades 1-5. But parents were outraged, because younger children considered chemical laced products toys, or wet wipes for dirty hands and faces. Parents complained, and the local ABC New station arrived on the scene. Incidentally, Clorox had labeled the box of sample for distribution to parents, but apparently hadn’t considered children would be their distributors.
