Advertising agencies love to win awards. Yes, many produce outstanding work which
should be recognized by their peers. And this summer, the hot awards will be presented at
Cannes Lions 2006. And if you want the scoop, the chairman of the awards just spoke at the AAAA Conference in Orlando. Here is his advice for wining entries—
keep it simple.

Hershey, founder of the chocolate candy empire, did not believe in advertising. “My idea of advertising is simple,” (we paraphrase) Milton said. “When I see our candy wrapper in the street, I make sure it is facing right side up.”
