another reason. Six Flags has just announced the release of “brand entertainment,” a two-and-a-half minute commercial previewing a new park ride. The commercial will be shown in three movie theatre chains, AMC Entertainment, Cinemark USA, and Regal Entertainment, along with posters, park coupons and concession stand products. National CineMedia, the company distributing the Six Flags commercial, believes that movie goers are also likely to attend amusement parks as a family activity. Marketing Blurb finds this doubtful. Most movies are produced to target teenaged males (or adults with like mentality.) Adults avoid movies to avoid the movie theatre crowd.
