Marketing Blurb has stayed at the finest hotels all across the country (always on someone else’s dime.) But even when we expense the tab, we still shutter at room rates which seem more like a mortgage payment. Sure the fresh chocolate chip cookies, mint, free wireless Internet or whatever help—but at those prices we could open our own bakery. But help in on the way. In honor of their 60th anniversary, Best Western is celebrating with a promotion offering select winners their 1946 room rate of $ 5.40 a night. The promotion includes one room per participating location.
