Now you might think that Visa would choose not to play games with advertising, but you would be wrong. In fact, Visa has joined forces with videogame maker Ubisoft to produce CSI: Three Dimensions of Murder. The game based on the television series, features a staring role for Visa fraud monitoring services. There is this suspicious charge on a victim’s credit card, see, which triggers an investigation CSI forensics team. Now we won’t ruin the game action, but you can imagine that backgrounds include Visa posters, logos, coffee mugs, and so on. Ubisoft expects to sell about 75,000 games the first week and 300,000 units over the life of the product. Life is already complicated enough, and Marketing Blurb does not have time for videogames. If we did, we would like to blast some bad guys, aliens preferably, and we really don’t care whose logo is in the background.
