Bit, Germany has not allowed AB to use the name
Bud in local advertising because the names are deemed too similar. Budweiser is known as
Anheuser Busch Bud in Germany. Ah, but in return for allowing Bitburger to quench the fans, AB can now use the name Bud. We wish all diplomatic politics could be so easy.
