But GM is tackling these difficult issues, and trying to put the best spin possible of diverse marketing efforts. One of their new approaches is a contest for members of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Thirty-three college students from the organization will create the PR campaign for the redesigned Aveno. The low-priced, but stylish car is targeted to the college demographic. Since the car is due to hit showrooms over the summer, the students have recommended a summer road trip to theme parks and concerts. Winners in local promotions will drive the car to the next stop.
