Like 83% of Americans, Marketing Blurb begins the day with a cup of steaming coffee. (We actually pass the entire day with steaming coffee.) We’re partial to our own brew or Starbucks, and try avoid the grocery store brands. But we must admit we are intrigued by this clever New York street promotion for Folgers Coffee. Folgers found a way to wrap manhole covers with an illustration of a coffee cup, so underground steam rises from the brew. The cup is surrounded by the words "Hey, City That Never Sleeps, Wake Up" We hope this is city-approved permission marketing. Thanks to AdJab for bringing this to our attention. They chose to call this sewer coffee, which probably explains why the city never sleeps.
