By now you have surely forgotten the forgettable advertisement that Internet services company GoDaddy aired during the last Super Bowl. The hype surrounding the
commercial was far superior to the final product, but the company achieved their objective of generating significant buzz. Well, according to
Forbes.com, GoDaddy is hiring Lehman Brothers to take the company public. Not many domain registration and hosting services like GoDaddy are publicly traded, and there are those who doubt the venture will fly.
Marketing Blurb is indifferent. Despite their awful Super Bowl commercial (and we are being kind here) the company offers a wealth of Internet services at competitive prices. We will let the free market decide. (But all the same, we’re not calling our broker.)
