How’s this for Indecent?
Marketing Blurb is amused by all this television indecency nonsense. The vast majority of television programming is utterly tasteless and without any social merit. indecent.jpgSure thereis inappropriate content, but that's just what the audience wants to see. So when the FCC slaps the networks with fines for indecent content, we just yawn. But in a classic case of man bites dog, the networks are fighting back by suing the FCC! ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and Hearst-Argyle Television joined together to say the fines are “unconstitutional and are inconsistent with earlier, less severe FCC decisions.” The networks also claim that parents have adequate controls to block objectionable programming. Media Daily News has more (free registration required.) Marketing Blurb says, let everybody duke it. Television programming is horrible, but we don’t need the FCC to press the off button.
