Abercrombie & Fitch Invades Great Britain
When we teach marketing, our students used to talk about the provocative Abercrombie savile.jpg& Fitch catalogs. Students assume that complaints forced the company to tone down their steamy photos. (In reality, unpopular styling and sagging sales forced the company to try another approach.) But the catalog is old news, because now Abercrombie & Fitch will be opening their first store outside the US in London’s famed Savile Row. According to The Columbus Dispatch, “The store, which will open in a year and be three times the size of a standard Abercrombie & Fitch mall store, is expected to be a springboard to new markets in Europe and the Far East for the sexy and youthful American brand.” You can see this is a big deal from the photo. Those are male torsos covering the construction site.

Hi
I was just wandering when the the new Abercrmobie & Fitch store is opening on Savile Row??
I would apreciate if you could get back 2 me!
Thanks
Andrea

The London store is suposed to open in about 2 weeks or less. although they have a habit of delaying openings. there is also the Mike Jeffries issue, i belive he is still in Asia finding a New store in Japan. so he will need to be in the London store when it opens.

Well it's open, and the prices are the same as they were in US Dollars, but with a pound sign in front of them. A mark up of about, ooh, 100%!! Gits......

i know i just went there today to have a look. why when us brands some to the uk do they think it is ok to charge the same price in dollars as in pounds. it is so annoying.

come on guys £25 for a cotton camilson top £30 for a t shirt. for any americans out there, that is approx $45 and $54 respectively.

i do not think i will bother

sorry i meant camisole top. i am so angry i cannot even type properly

Love love love it! v. excited

i work at A&F in the US and just so you know camis are usually 30-35 US dollars so maybe they did do some adjusting.

Where is the shop??

yeah but you have to remember it might be a little more expensive because its being imported from the US to the UK so maybe thats why the prices are a little higher i think.... i could be right or wrong

yeah but read the descriptions online allmost all abercrombie cloths are imported to the US thats ridiculous i was going to shop there when i went to london but ill stick with new york
