Warner Brothers will release a new animated movie in November called
Happy Feet. The movie features Emperor Penguins in Antarctica, which means there is not much
opportunity for product placement. This is a family-friendly film, and a number of advertisers including Burger King, Pepperidge Farm, Doubletree Hotels, Perfectmatch.com, Color Me Mine are planning licensed promotions. Burger King will feature a Happy Feet Kids Meal in over 8000 restaurants, and KFC will do the same in non-BK markets. The movie is a love story if you are wondering why dating site Perfectmatch.com is involved. Pepperidge Farms will have a Goldfish Crackers instant win game. So everybody loves an Emperor Penguin it seems.
