Hoffa. Well—this is not really a post about Hoffa, but rather about cup cakes. It seems that an enterprising bakery in Milford Township near the search site decided to bake Hoffa cup cakes to feed the army of hungry FBI agents and reporters. One businessman ordered three dozen of the cup cakes to deliver to site diggers. 500 of the $ .95 cup cakes featuring chocolate-flavored sprinkles resembling dirt sold quickly, and the Milford Baking Company is having difficulty keeping up with demand. We tell our marketing students this is point of sale marketing at its best. Whether or not Hoffa is recovered from the farm in Milford Township, American enterprise is alive and well.
