with HP was simple. We expected the printer to work, and it did. We even opened the case from time-to-time and cleaned the parts. HP printers used to have real aluminum parts, real rubber belts and glides and heavy-gage plastic cases. The last time we shopped for printers at a major computer chain, an HP Manufacturer’s Rep opened the case and we saw only cheap flimsy plastic. He shut the case, and it cracked before our very eyes. So unless something has changed, we are disappointed in HP printer quality. But they do have this spiffy and new advertising campaign called The Computer is Personal Again. Marketing Blurb does not believe advertising. We believe in product quality. Now that Carly is gone, have these printers improved in quality—or just in advertising quality?
