Marketing Blurb can’t stay on top of the pop music scene, so we are not sure whether
or not we should be embarrassed we have never heard of the female music group known as the
Pussycats Dolls. But the group must appeal to micro-boppers, because Hasbro decided to release a set of dolls based on the band members. But a consumer advocacy group called
Dads & Daughters complained the group routinely uses risqué lyrics, and performs in skimpy outfits. Hasbro finally agreed, and decide not to release the dolls after all.
Marketing Blurb believes that adults don’t listen to, or cannot understand the lyrics of any music their children listen to. (Of course, this has always been true since the Kingsmen recorded
Louie Louie.)
