Back in February, we told you how Sports Illustrated was morphing their famed annual swimsuit issue into a multimedia extravaganza. But guys, if you will read another post for a minute, we need to talk to our female readers. According to The New York Times (free registration required,) the real winner of the swimsuit competition is the Land’s End catalog. For years, Land’s End has mailed a special edition which is sensitive to and sensible for women who struggle to find the right swimsuit for their figure. The swimsuit catalog features hundreds of options “shirred, nipped or strategically padded to minimize bulges, contain robust contours or enhance curves.” Those women who purchase from Land’s End praise the advice and options from the catalog with glowing testimonials and pass-alongs.
