We knew this had to happen. Popular dry cat food marketer Meow Mix is creating a reality TV show for cats. Here’s the deal. Ten felines, called cat-testants, will be selected from shelters across the country, and sent to New York to live in The Meow Mix House. The house features webcams in every room for fans to follow cat activities when owners are away. Cat owners know the drill. Cats jump on furniture, eat, fight, sleep, play, bathe, barf, and sleep more. People can vote for their favorite cats online. Here’s the good news. Cats who are “booted” from the Meow Mix house are actually adopted into real homes, and receive a one-year supply of the dry food. The final remaining cat is appointed Feline Vice President of Research and Development, and remains a food tester for the company. You can read the details from the Meow Mix website.
