Muffins and Scones at McDonald’s?
We already told you that McDonald’s has gone uptown with their premium brewed muffin.jpgcoffee. And we would hate to waste the brew on a life-threatening McGriddle Breakfast Sandwich. Instead, we would prefer a scone with our coffee. And Ronald is listening, because according to Promo Magazine, McDonald’s is testing baked goods for breakfast in selected restaurants in the Northeast. The test will help determine if McDonald’s can become more competitive with Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks. We think they need to lose the clown and the sticky floors to compete with Starbucks, but hey—this is a step in the right direction.
