Marketing Blurb has never appeared on the cover of
Rolling Stone magazine. While we
are disappointed, we are delighted that the magazine decided to celebrate their 1000th issue with a special 3D cover. The cover photograph pays homage to the famous 1967 Beatles album
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. (Yes, we know that average blog readers are too young to remember this.) According to
USA Today, the cover “features more than 150 pop icons of our times, from Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin to Britney Spears and Eminem. George Clooney is there, and so are Angelina Jolie and Tom Cruise and Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan.” We never saw the rate card, but suspect this was a noteworthy ad buy. Congratulations to
Rolling Stone.
