Dog websites are serious. business. We know this, because we built a website for our
dogs in the early 1990s before Netscape was even founded and made the site easily accessible. But moving forward to today, we learned that the UK division of Pedigree has launched a new website for dogs called
It’s a Dog Thing. “Welcome to Pedigree's homage to all the happy, funny, crazy dogs out there. This is a community built for dot-lovers to tell the world all about their dog's think: that special quirk that makes you chuckle when your dog does it.” Registered users can upload photos of their dogs, naturally.
Marketing Blurb thinks this site is a great idea--because dog owners love to boast about their furry friend, and Pedigree benefits with their brand message. Oh, and our dogs are smarter and more charming than your dogs. Woof!
