Chances are you don’t think much about jukeboxes these days. Your favorite bar likely
plays dribble from some unknown source, and you cannot even locate the speakers. Jukeboxes that spin real records or even CDs are novel antiques these days. Somehow, Marketing Blurb and the Associated Press just can’t get comfortable with Internet digital jukeboxx that allows tavern patrons to use a credit card and select from hundreds of thousands of tunes from different eras and genres. The Sevens, a tavern on Charles Street in Boston, has such an Internet jukebox, and it receives mixed reviews. While some patrons love the variety others complain regarding the drawbacks of too many choices. Meatloaf comes to mind or obscure tunes by Frank Zappa. Marketing Blurb is partial to Frank Zappa, so to avoid any bar fights, we are going to keep a low profile. Read the whole AP story from Newsvine, and dance to the music.
