Marketing Blurb loves Starbucks more than the next pundit. We really don’t visit that
often, but when we do, we skip all the weenie foamy stuff and go right for the black gold that makes us feel great for the whole day. When we think Starbucks, we think java. We don’t want to listen or buy music at Starbucks. We’re not interested in their movie promotions. We want a few minutes of peace, conversation with a friend, and the hot black coffee. But we feel obligated to share the news that Starbucks has hired the William Morris Agency to identify new promotion opportunities in the entertainment world. Morris will seek music, film, and book projects for possible marketing and distribution in 11,000 Starbucks locations worldwide.
Marketing Blurb is all for diversification, but if we get too distracted at Starbucks, we’re heading down the street to another java the hut.

I completely agree with you but it's too bad that my significant other lover her tall, non-fat, no whip, piece of *%@# latte that costs me $25. :) They seem to be doing something right there so adding additional promotions will probably be a big hit. We'll see. I've also purchased one of their CDs for that same significant other.
Again - I agree with you though based on my own needs.
