In the UK, Volkswagen is launching the new Luna Beetle special edition, with a custom decal design contest. You can visit the New Beetle Art website and decide if you would like your Beetle personalized with decals prepared by four artists. You can also play around with the basic pallet to create your own design. You can actually add the decals to your final purchase, and of course, one lucky person who customizes the basic designs wins the Beetle. We designed the Beetle shown here, but hey—we are just a marketing pundit. The interactive website is great fun. We are disappointed, however, that none of the artists provided flames for us to use. (The promotion is geared to women who probably don’t want the flames.)
