Our economy is cheap with powerhouse brands that consumers know and love. And
these brands earn their recognition with monster budget media campaigns, right? Well, you wrong. According to a national consumer survey by Harris Interactive,
Reynolds Wrap, with only $ 7.5 million in media support has the
strongest brand equity in the US. The wrap trounced 1000 well-known brands in a survey of over 25,000 consumers. Forget Coke, Pepsi, McDonald’s and Nike,
none of which make the top ten in brand equity according to the survey. Windex ranked second, Hershey third, Kleenex fourth and Clorox Bleach number five. Searching for Google or Apple? Don't. Your brand is a loser—hee, hee.
