The folks at Time Warner are still struggling with online advertising. While AOL battles
to build their non-member audience metrics, the TW Road Runner service is devoting prime advertising real estate to house ads. We were intrigued by the image shown here, only to discover it linked to the
Living section of the Road Runner home page where we can discover ideas for Father’s Day, remodel our house, or oogle at swelt models wearing high-style summer fashion. Oh, and there is a pitch for the new PhotoShow software. The software is free, but we are too suspicious to try the download. So while we appreciate the broadband speed of our RoadRunner service, we decided to build our own home page with Google. This is not an endorsement for the do no-evil empire, but we like the idea of a home page with no images of celebrities!
