Consumers and marketers are embracing the explosion in media entertainment
opportunities. How Much Entertainment Can We Afford? It seems that media monsters like Disney and Time Warner are afraid to address the issue that maybe consumers will reach a limit to their entertainment budgets. “Joe Pilotta, vice president of BIGresearch, warns that media spending may suffer serious indirect pressure from what is fast becoming the elephant in the American economy's living room: the overextended consumer.” Consider yourself warned.
