You have probably heard the buzz about the up and coming meal-assembly business. The deal is to create an
assembly line for a busy person to construct about a dozen meals at one time for freezer storage. The concept has variants and various franchise operations including
Dinner by Design with 75 locations. Kraft Foods likes this idea, and they have decided to supply ingredients (branded naturally) for Dinner by Design to use in assembly. The Kraft Foods include
A1 Steak Sauce,
Grey Poupon mustard,
Oreo cookies, and
Stove Top stuffing. Kraft and Dinner by Design will collaborate on promoting the partnership. "We're always seeking opportunities to help busy families prepare delicious meals quickly and this new collaboration with Dinner by Design will enable consumers to use the quality ingredients they already know and trust," said Kraft Foodservice President Tom Sampson in a statement.
Marketing Blurb thinks this partnership is a fine idea, although we still prefer to cook and eat our meals one at a time. We learned about this from
