Yes, the healthy meal options may a fun smokescreen, but the real money is in gut-busting, artery-clogging, calorie-crazy, take-no-prisoners burgers. Let’s get serious with Burger King’s new BK Stackers. You can supersize this puppy to include four slabs of beef, four slices of cheese, and four strips of bacon. In other words, this is one burger which includes enough food to feed a family of four. This BK Stacker delight features 1,000 calories, 1,800 milligrams of sodium and a day and a half’s worth of saturated fat. The advertising tag line is “It’s the flame-broiled meat lovers’ burger, and it’s here to stay — no veggies allowed.” Oh, but if you can’t wait until lunch, you can find a similar breakfast feast at Denny’s. The Denny’s Extreme Grand Slam Breakfast includes three pancakes, three strips of bacon, three sausage links, two eggs, and hash browns. (The restaurant says customers should not have to choose between the bacon and sausage—both are included.)
