You might be enjoying the peak of summer, but retailers are already thinking back-to-school promotions. And if your agenda includes clothing for school, Kohl’s has got a deal for you. Kohl’s hip house brand Candie's is calling upon a couple of rockers to promote their fall line-up of threads. Newcomer Cheyenne is joining rock veteran Pat Benatar for TV and print advertising hyping Kohl’s exclusive line Candie’s vintage clothing, footwear, and accessories. Benatar is reprising her monster hit “Heartbreaker” for the campaign, and Kohl’s is launching a new Heartbreaker fragrance. (Of course old rockers like Marketing Blurb associate Heartbreaker with Led Zeppelin.) Get ready to rock in September. (These young women appear ready to break hearts in a heart beat.)
