To get you in the mood for football, Newcastle Brown Ale is breaking a new promotion
called “The Best of Both Worlds.” The promotion is a sweepstakes offering a grand prize of a home entertainment center with a Philips “50-inch digital-cable-ready plasma HDTV; a Philips home theater system with DVD/CD/MP3/DivX player and stadium-style catering for up to 20 people at the winner's home during the 2007 Super Bowl.” After the party, there is a $ 250 gift card for a local cleaning service to attack the aftermath. The winner also receives a four-night, trip for two to Beverly Hills and $ 2,500 in spending money. On the minus side, the name of the promotion implies the guy gets the entertainment center, and the women who normally cleans up after him, gets the cleaning service for the party mess.
Marketing Blurb thinks this is cheap sexist point of view, and we are not drinking any Newcastle Brown. Our wife prefers wine anyway, thanks.
