We were impressed when NBC announced their evening news broadcast would be available on the Internet. But since we already watch the show live, we have no need to see an Internet copy available the same evening after 10:30 PM. I suppose we would watch again if Brian Williams interviewed

course, the immediate reaction from most industry pundits is predictable. It you have a television, why would you watch Katie on your computer? Network affiliates believe the competitive simulcast will lower the value of their advertising time. Who knows (and perhaps even more seriously, who cares?) Brian Williams authors a fine news blog, we are told, but there are only so many hours in a day. CBS will give Katie her own news blog, too. Sorry Katie, we doubt you will make our reading list either. We learned about
