If you have hungry children, a hot dog often provides a quick and easy meal. And while our children are grown, Marketing Blurb always believed that preparing a hot dog was a simple enough, low tech exercise. Not many ingredients are required, and if you want to get fancy, you can toast the bun, or perhaps add sauerkraut—for the older kids, anyway. But while watching television, we discovered that a traditional hot dog is too damn complicated. Why cook a hot dog, when you can zap a Fast Frank? Oscar Mayer has just introduced Fast Franks. Fast Franks are hot dogs already in buns. You stick one of these puppies in a microwave and bam—you have a meal in 35 seconds. Here’s the word from the Oscar Mayer Press Release titled Ready, Set, Hot Dog: “It’s mouthwatering to imagine -- a tasty, hot and juicy Oscar Mayer hot dog wrapped inside a soft and warm bakery-fresh bun. And now imagine only having to wait thirty-five seconds for that first delicious bite.”  Marketing Blurb uses a microwave to reheat food. There is no such thing as cooking food in 35 seconds. This product is not yet available nationwide—but hey—wait 35 seconds it Fast Franks are coming your way!
