
Now that the World Cup Soccer Tournament is over, we can safely talk about hoop tilt. The National Basketball Association has decided to take their show on the road with a summer tour to eight European countries. Called NBA Basket Jam, the festival includes fan participation in games and entertainment activities. There is a 1-on-1 skills competition, a 3-point shoot out, free-throw contest and more. Sponsors include
Champion, Nike, FootLocker, EA Sport, Spalding and Sprite. In October, the tour will include pro games featuring the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs. The teams will play against European basketball clubs, and conduct training camps. Marketing Blurb loves road shows, and we wish we could participate.
