Marketing Blurb loves the New England Patriots as much as the next football fan. And we just learned from
The Boston Globe, that serious fans can now chow New England Patriots branded hot dogs, bratwurst, and sausages while they watch the game. Gillette Stadium is offering fans the “Patriots First Down Beef Frank" and “Patriots Sack Attack Mild Italian Sausage." But this is not just a stadium gimmick, because the same
items will be branded, packaged, and ready for grocery store sales in September. But wait—there’s more! Team executives are also considering Patriots hamburgers, chicken wings, barbecue sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Klement Sausage Company of Wisconsin will produce the Patriot fare, and pay the team a royalty on sales.
Marketing Blurb thinks this is a great idea, although we can’t image the Green Bay Packers will be happy with their choice of suppliers. Perhaps the Packers can brand their own cheese from Boston.
