Well, the television spots are finally hitting the airwaves. We haven’t seen one on television yet, but we did view one online courtesy of a link from
The Wall Street Journal. As the journal points out, the commercial, while informative and effective is clinical and sterile. There is actually a products spokesperson in a lab coat checking of product features from a white board. Believe it or not, there is no toothy blond, brunette, or red head flashing a Times Square neon smile. We miss the smile actually—but truth be told--we still just want the damned plain white toothpaste without sprinklers, stripes, gravel bits or tropical fruit extracts.
