If you wish you could leave your troubles behind and go to a galaxy far far away—we have good news. Luscasfilm Limited is sponsoring a
summer tour featuring Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and Wicket the Ewok. The tour begins August 22nd and will reach 11 cities including Miami, Louisville, KY, Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Portland, OR, Seattle, Houston, Kansas City, Buffalo, NY, Las Vegas and San Diego, CA. The
tour celebrates the September release of yet another DVD version of
Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and a new video game called the
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. And there are prizes, naturally. Fans can take their pictures with Star Wars characters and enter them in the Bring it Home contest. The grand prize is a trip for four to Celebration IV, (which we presume is a fan convention) and the new DVD and game releases. You can also win a lightsaber.
Marketing Blurb thinks this is a fine idea, because it appears our entire planet is in the cross hairs of the Death Star. We learned about this from
